about

O Machine is the new project embraced by Gilberto Miranda, which remains associated with bands like Bigorna or Anthracite Metal Devaneio. In this new musical project, the portuguese musician living in Copenhagen is still inspired by american indie rock. O Machine recently released the EP "The Mysterious Shades of Grapes in Botswana", and the songs are haunted by a drone/ambient atmosphere that marks all the ryhthm, followed by indie melodies "stolen" from the best american lo-fi . Surely we can find many reminiscences of post-rock or space-rock allied with ingenious minimalism and a harmonious repetition of small details, the "half notes" or "perfect imperfections".

about

O Machine Copenhagen, Denmark

Gilberto Miranda surrenders with master devotion to the electric guitar to provide a whole multiplicity of solutions.
Claiming all attention, unfolding in successive layers, with space for contemplation as for a certain nervous gnashing, but all equally engaging.
Dense atmospheres colored with feedbacks, cinematic landscapes, shouts of joy and laughter of sadness. An emotional avalanche.
